Maria Reveles
Environmental Programs Director
Maria Reveles serves as Environmental Programs Director at the Central California Asthma Collaborative (CCAC), where she leads initiatives that advance environmental health and support healthier communities across the Central Valley.
Maria brings more than 12 years of experience managing community-focused programs and leading diverse teams throughout the region. She began her career as a Site Director supporting K–8 youth programs before advancing to a Multi-Site Director role, where she oversaw staff and programming across several locations.
She later transitioned into energy equity work at Self-Help Enterprises, coordinating outreach efforts across six counties to help expand access to clean energy resources for underserved communities. Most recently, Maria served as Director of Education at Proteus, Inc., where she led academic and career technical education programs, supervised staff, managed budgets, and strengthened partnerships with local organizations.
With deep roots in the Central Valley, Maria is passionate about creating programs that improve quality of life for families and communities. At CCAC, she is committed to advancing initiatives that promote healthier homes, cleaner air, and greater environmental equity.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys traveling, exploring nature, and cooking new recipes at home. She also has a passion for rescue animals and enjoys caring for the pets that keep her busy.
