Jasmin Martinez

Program Manager

Jasmin Martinez is the Program Manager for CCAC’s Clean Air Division, based in the Bakersfield office. Born and raised in Delano, Jasmin is a first-generation college graduate from Stanford University. Growing up in the San Joaquin Valley shaped her commitment to grassroots leadership and environmental justice, values that guide her work today.

Before joining CCAC, Jasmin spent nearly five years at the Central Valley Air Quality Coalition, where she advanced community priorities across air quality, climate, and environmental justice through coalition building, policy advocacy, and grant and project management. Her background also includes work with the American Civil Liberties Union and California Rural Legal Assistance. She currently serves as Board Chair of LOUD for Tomorrow’s Action Fund, a youth-led organization in her hometown of Delano.

At CCAC, Jasmin is focused on making information about air quality and methane emissions more accessible and actionable for communities impacted by oil and gas operations, landfills, and dairies. She looks forward to collaborating across programs and building relationships with community partners throughout the state.

Outside of work, Jasmin stays active by trying new workout classes and playing basketball, volleyball, golf, and, most recently, tennis. She enjoys reading, painting, going to the movies, and keeping up with her Letterboxd. She is always on the lookout for a new food spot, a new place to travel, or an excuse to spend time with family and friends.
