Arlette Garcia-Ramirez
Environmental Health Research Coordinator
Arlette is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology.
Arlette joined the CCAC team in December 2023. As an Environmental Health Research Coordinator, Arlette invites Central Valley families to take part in investigative research projects focused on exploring the factors that contribute to air pollution exposure in disadvantaged communities. Her responsibilities include gathering biospecimen samples, health measurements, and administering questionnaires.
Although born in San Bernardino, Arlette grew up in Fontana and later moved to Bakersfield in 2013. Arlette is passionate about providing education, information, and resources to underserved communities in the Central Valley. In her free time, Arlette enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, weightlifting, and playing video games.
