San Joaquin Valley Air Monitoring Network

Empowering Communities with Real-Time Air Quality Data

ccac-divider

The San Joaquin Valley Air Monitoring Network (SJVAir) is an initiative of the Central California Asthma Collaborative (CCAC), providing real-time air quality data to help residents, policymakers, and public health officials make informed decisions about pollution exposure and respiratory health risks.

The San Joaquin Valley has some of the worst air quality in the nation, with high levels of PM2.5, ozone, and wildfire smoke disproportionately impacting low-income, agricultural, and frontline communities. SJVAir works to bridge the information gap by providing accessible, localized air quality data—allowing residents to take action to protect their health.

By combining advanced monitoring technology with community education and policy advocacy, SJVAir is helping families, schools, and public agencies mitigate the effects of air pollution while driving systemic change for cleaner air.
